Vyne is a provider of secure health information exchange and electronic health care communication management solutions. We deliver a single, highly integrated platform for the secure exchange of protected health information and communication management between patients, providers, payers/health plans and partners.

Vyne is currently seeking a Controller. 

The Controller is responsible for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results for Vyne.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
5+ years supervisory experience required.
Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
Lead the timely and efficient completion of all annual financial audit activities.
Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO, the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the company.
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions and/or mergers and investments.
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
Experience with NetSuite software – Preferred
Experience with SAAS businesses model and recurring revenue - Preferred

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
A track record of success leading a business operation; an approach to management that brings out the best in staff and yields pride, ownership, and a sense of team effort
Possess a supportive and accessible management style, the ability to lead and motivate a diverse staff and to encourage change and growth in both people and programs, and a strong commitment to personal and professional development.
